Small Business Operations Pack

Connect intake, scope, delivery, invoicing and monthly review.

Make
A small operating record with delivery and payment follow-up.
Working time
45–60 minutes · estimate
Start with
One fictional or authorized service example.

Learn

Build on what you can show.

Start with a defined customer need and a deliverable someone can inspect. Record the agreed scope, exclusions and acceptance criteria. Keep the project’s actual agreement as a separate authoritative document.

Follow the work through delivery and invoicing. Separate an amount quoted, an invoice issued and money actually received. Review open work, unpaid invoices and one process defect at a regular interval.

Worked example and review

Use the fictional example to inspect the fields and export formats.

A planned quote is not revenue. The example records zero received and leaves agreement and delivery steps open.

Apply

Make your working record.

Model one service from intake to acceptance. Add a quote or invoice record and a monthly review question.

Work privately in this tab. Download a copy before leaving; refreshing clears unsaved entries. This tool sends no form entries to the District or a third-party AI service. Use service labels and non-sensitive examples where possible.

Reflection and next action

Which ambiguity could create rework or a disputed expectation?

Reflection and next action

Keep an editable copy.

Text is useful for reading and editing; CSV opens as a field log; JSON can reopen this workspace later.

Show evidence / Reflect

Review the work, then choose a next step.

  • Scope, exclusions and acceptance criteria fit together.
  • Payment status records actual events.
  • The next action has an owner and review point.

Reflect: Which ambiguity could create rework or a disputed expectation?

Record your observation and next action in the reflection fields above. Estimated activity time and examples have not been independently validated with learners.
